Mr. Griswold is Chairman of Black Oak Associates and a former Senior Advisor and Director of Brown Investment Advisory. He was a co-founder and Managing Director of Armata Partners and was formerly Vice Chairman of the Board and a Managing Director at Alex. Brown Incorporated, and Chairman of the Board at Alex. Brown Kleinwort Benson Realty Advisors Corporation and Alex. Brown Real Estate Group, Inc. Currently, Mr. Griswold is a Trustee of Living Classrooms Foundation and President Emeritus of the Maryland Historical Society. He formerly served as Chairman of the Washington College Board of Visitors and Governors and a member of the Board of Chevy Chase Bank. Mr. Griswold received his MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and his BA from Princeton University.
